How to set up a workshop at YOUR location

It is simple and easy. Just add water and motivated swimmers or triathletes that are ready to learn how to swim faster with less effort!

NO RISK & NO TRAVEL FEES: In most cases, Karlyn covers her own travel expenses coming to you absolutely RISK free. If there is not enough people to host the clinic, we simply cancel.

FIND A POOL: The 1st step is to find a pool willing to rent lanes or to host an event. Piggybacking on existing swim practice pool time is ideal. Weekends are good (Karlyn can do two clinics back-to-back) and mid-week in the evenings is usually a great time for busy parents & professionals.

LANE SPACE: Depending on the size of the clinic, Karlyn will need 2-4 lanes for a total of about two hours. Please consider that all clinics start with 30-60 minutes DRY before getting in the pool.

SPECIAL NEEDS: Besides lane space in the pool, we will need a TV/DVD player and a place to watch it. This can be a classroom, on deck (if not too loud), a large hallway, or a locker room.

COSTS AND TYPES OF CLINICS (for all ages and abilities):
For detailed information about clinic types, costs, and schedules, please visit my Swim Clinics page.

REGISTRATION FORM: Karlyn has ready-to-go registration form that can be customized with your logo. You may then post, print and/or email it out to all potential participants.

HOW TO SIGN UP: Karlyn can set up an online registration system with ACTIVE.COM and will also offer the old-fashioned mail-in-the-check method. Or if you prefer, you may collect the fees, registration forms and manage the sign-ups. It is totally up to you!

INSURANCE: The can pool/facility can be named as additional insured on Aquatic Edges liability insurance policy. Karlyn also has current certifications in Lifeguard, CPR and First Aide.

THANK YOU: In appreciation for hosting an event, you may invite one swimmer or coach to attend the clinic for free. All USA/YMCA youth or Masters coaches may audit on deck at no charge.

HOST HOUSING: To keep costs down, Karlyn prefers to stay with a host family instead of a hotel.
